Class requirements:
* graduates of Obedience Basics
* or (free) skills assessment prior to registering for the class.

In Basics you learned how to train while your dog independently maintained a loose leash.

In Obedience-beyond the leash you'll discover that lack of leash does not mean your dog will suddenly decide it's time to check out.

The class is for those who would like to train their dog to respond with greater reliability when off leash - and is suitable for companion or competition bound dogs and their owners.

Like all instruction at Positive Rewards,your dog learns to want to work with you, rather than for you - the end result is a dog who responds quickly and eagerly.

Please note: if you train through use of an electronic training collar ( shock or citronella) this class is not suitable for your dog.

age: minimum 7 months or by invitation
vaccinations: current
social tolerance: tolerant of the close proxinity of new dogs & people
